Just a quick update, my strawberries no longer have the white tips, what ever the issue was earlier in the season it has passed. The strawberries are now producing lush red fruit.

My tomatoes have been blooming for a couple of weeks, is there a process to ensure that the blossoms set?

We have had chickens and ducks in the past. The ducks are so sweet! Chicken and duck eggs are great, the ducks do a great job at keeping the slug population down.:)
