We have a barrel under one if the rain spouts on the garage. We use this water to water all of flowers and plants.
I have always used wood chips around my trees for years. And have noticed a bad smell.
I will check around for a recipe. Maybe that will help attract them. I have not had much luck attracting them.

I have always used the soda pop bottle. And it has worked for me. I saw some new things on tv, but I can't of what they are called. I would like to try them.
Like a lot of people here I was always taught to clip them off. So that it is what I do, and it seems to work.
I always use plastic. But I am going to try using the cardboard. I think I would like it better.

I planted an apple tree a few years ago. And it took a couple years to get a good amount of apples.
All I know that there are many varieties of hot peppers. I know my neighbor grew some last year and they were really hot.
I have never thought of one flower for a wedding bouget. But sounds like a good idea. Keep it simple , beautiful.
Sorry I can"t help you. I have not heard of this. I have heard that if you put aspirin in the water and it helps them stay alive longer.
This is a great idea. Not real expensive, and it seems really easy to do. I am going to have to try this.
I have b put feeders out for the humming birds. But I never seem to get any. I can't figure out why.
That is what I use a hoe and a shovel. I just do a little bit at a time it makes it easier, and works great.

I myself have never tried to grow watermelons. But I have a neighbor that grows them every year. I guess that is why we haven't grown any. Because is always giving us watermelon.

You mean to tell me that pour scalding water on them will do the trick? I will have to try this. Am tired of bending over and trying to pull them out. It's a back killer.
We went to buy some a couple of years ago and I can't remember how much they were. But we didn't buy them because I felt that they were way over priced.
Yes I agree watch where you plant them. Because the roots will go right to your drains, and go right into to the underground pipes.This could end up costing you a lot o money.
I agree Hostas will grow anywhere, and they look nice. And they don't take a lot of care.
